In April 2024, the global rubber and plastics industry turned its attention to Shanghai, where the highly anticipated CHINAPLAS 2024 International Rubber and Plastics Exhibition took place from April 23 to 26 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.

At the event, Sinopec showcased its latest polyolefin products and solutions, strengthening partnerships across the entire industry chain. Changhong Technology (stock code: 300151) joined forces with Sinopec as an invited partner, forming a strategic alliance that paves the way for groundbreaking advancements in the industry.

During the keynote session, Sinopec’s leadership delivered a warm welcome, followed by an in-depth presentation from Changhong Technology’s President Liu. He outlined the company’s vision and highlighted the growing demand for advanced materials in future industry trends.

Changhong Technology noted that plastic components are critical in applications like life science lab consumables, reproductive diagnostics, immune diagnostics, and semiconductor plastic consumables. However, 70-80% of customers still rely on imported materials. Through its collaboration with Sinopec, Changhong aims to drive innovation in raw materials and applications, advancing the localization of these technologies.

In a subsequent talk on “Medical, Healthcare, and Electronic Material Packaging Solutions,” Mr. Zeng, a marketing expert from Sinopec’s East China Chemical Sales Division, repeatedly referenced Changhong Technology and Baimingsheng Medical products, expressing enthusiasm for deepening the partnership.

The event culminated in a grand signing ceremony, witnessed by numerous industry peers, where Changhong Technology and Sinopec formalized their strategic cooperation. This partnership marks a significant milestone for both companies.

With CHINAPLAS as the backdrop, we are confident that Changhong Technology and Sinopec’s joint efforts will enhance the supply chain for high-polymer medical consumables and semiconductor electronic plastic applications. Together, they will bolster China’s plastic consumables industry, positioning it to compete at the forefront of global innovation.
